[ARKHAM EVENT] Demands Of The Deep (Sat 2nd October 5pm-late)

The Time: October 2nd 1938, 5PM until late

The Place: Arkham Gaming Centre, Gleno

The Event: The Grand opening of the Waterfall Lodge; a country retreat for the rich and famous.

Set in tranquil surrounds with its very own waterfall, The Waterfall Lodge serves fine food and offers luxury and mystery for the cream of society to revel in. Located in a renovated Sanatorium, The Lodge is resplendent in arcane mystery and bohemian delight.

Whilst you taste our fine dining and relax in our comfortable rooms you can shiver at tales of the ghastly last days of the Sanatorium; Marvel at genuine curiosities from the most erudite collections, some said to hold ancient power; Lose yourself in Delphic and mystical texts, kept from the eyes of common men.

A live-action Call of Cthulhu inspired game set in the 1930s; full of elegance, grandeur and of course, unspeakable horror. Will you hold the knowledge to unravel the riddles of the past? Can you keep your head in the face of terror? Is your fame enough to keep you alive?






This very special event will include a full catered dinner. Cost £25 for members, £28 for non-members. Strictly for over 18's. You may bring your own alcohol to have with dinner. Non-alcoholic drinks will be served.

No deposit is required, full payment upon entry to the event. To allow time for characters to be generated, we need to set the booking deadline as Saturday Sept 18th.

Just an update for you guys.

Plot scheming is well underway and we have some great ideas developing for characters. Don't forget, the sooner you get your booking form and character request form submitted, the more time we have to write an horrific awesome character for you.

I am trying to organise a minibus from belfast to the event if anyone from Arkham is interested just sent me a pm and i will get back to you with price.

This was a superbly organised and run event. Kudos to the organisers LARPNI and Arkham. I thoroughly enjoyed the night and hope that this is only the first in a long line of successful LARP events. Well done guys.

Hmmm...decent review, but irritating they way they kept describing us as "the gaming shop", and saying that we are "in the bog end of nowhere" without actually saying where we are. Ah well, i doubt too many people will listen anyway, and those who do will be none the wiser about Arkham. It's a pity, i'd hoped they would've seen the benefit of promoting us in a little more positive light instead of picking things to poke fun at. Sensitive? Me? Yes!
