My name is Michael and I use the profile Blue Ocean.

Have been collecting for just over two years with a dozen or so actual games played-most at Arkham with opponent and mentor Eiglepulper.

I am a Ultra Marine player and the term blue ocean (strategy) also has an alternative meaning apart from loads of space marines looking like an ocean. Having just finished a MBA it should not be a surprise that I have actually read this book- Blue Ocean Strategy. In simple terms it is about making the competition irrelevant. Consider that a courtesy announcement to Chaos - may you live in interesting times.

With a current location at Markethill (between Newry and Armagh or Portadown and Monaghan) the trip to Arkham is indeed a day out rather than a passing maybe.

If you contact me, I will respond and welcome any challenges from 'patient' gamers.

Kwi,

Have sent a pm to Phil about my second thoughts for the journey to Arkham this saturday, so it will be another time for me. Have had my scare for the year shall we say, following visit and game with Jamie in late November.

All the best

Greetings and Salutations Empty So cold today yet a warm welcome from the arkham members-thank you

Thanks Neil and Andrew,

Am still in doubt about a visit to Arkham on Saturday for the tournament despite the forecast for warmth and thaw of ice.

I suspect on Wednesday I will make a definite decision, so as to enable another gamer (who is closer to arkham) use of my ticket since it a far journey from Markethill to Glenoe.

All the best,

respectfully,

Michael (blue ocean)

Michael - you'd be fine as long as you came via Larne instead of Carrick as it's gritted the whole way. There's detailed directions with pictures of junctions at this link;

If you need more detailed directions to the beginning of that route, just let me know.
