Hafza Unit

According to Islamic mythology, each believer is escorted by four Hafzas (or Hafazas), guardian angels that protect him from the influence of the devil. In the army, an officer has a duty to his men, and is responsible for the lives of the soldiers in his charge. He must decide who takes the risks, who sacrifices themselves and who stays safe. His decisions will take his men to victory and safety or to defeat and death. To be able to fulfill such a compromise, natural talent and the highest preparations is needed. Therefore, all the members of the Hafza Unit are graduates from the prestigious Military Academy of Al-Khaafidif. The training they undergo is the best, and also the most expensive. Known for their leadership qualities and their tactical flexibility, each Hafza is ready to take the most diverse group of soldiers and turn them into an efficient combat force. Haqqislamite soldiers know they can rely on a Hafza, who will never ask of them something he wouldn’t be willing to do himself. But for this to work, the Hafza officer has to remain in combat with them, in the front line, where he is most vulnerable. To the enemy, the Hafzas are valuable targets. Since their inception, the mortality rate of this unit’s members was too high to guarantee its continuity, so they were trained to disguise their appearance with the use of identity-obscuring technology. Now a Hafza could be anyone in an attack force, but what is sure is that he will be there, hiding from everyone’s sight while directing his men to victory and glory.

The Imperial Service

Yu Jing’s Judicial Corps, in its authorized mission of protection and Law and Order enforcement, has a tactical wing for special tasks known as the Imperial Service. This section is the one in charge of carrying out tasks of internal defense, civil and military security, including anti-terrorist and anti-subversive actions.

The Imperial Service is under the direct control of the Emperor, and is considered his representation on the streets or in battle. On the operational level, the armed wing of the Judicial Corps can act fully integrated into the organizational structure of the army or as an independent intervention force.

The Imperial Service has a black reputation as a military corps because of the moral standard of its units, a mix of infamous penal regiments with police and paramilitary units sadly famous due to their lack of scruples and preference for drastic solutions.

Nevertheless, the effectiveness of this military body in the execution of its missions cannot be denied. Aside from the crudity of its hard and severe methods, or maybe because of them, the Imperial Service knows how to take control of any situation in which it may be involved and stands as a fearsome enemy; the claws with which the Dragon destroys the enemies of Yu Jing.

13éme Moblots

The Treizième de Moblots, the Merovingian Heavy Infantry, use their name to honour the memory of the French mobile soldiers of the Franco-Prussian war.

The regiment takes on offensive middle and large-scale actions and participates in tactical front line combat operations. Searching for the best in operative flexibility, the combat units of the 13ème count in their ranks experts in diverse techniques and military specialities. In general, everybody consider the Moblots as a goddamn nuisance and that is a great truth...until its breakfast time for Rosalie, the large French bayonet. When action comes, the Moblots are the first into the breach, before all the rest. Call it having a hard head.
