I played Mike(Revic) last night I won the 1st 2 games but time meant we couldn't get a 3rd so I'll concede that making it 2-1 to me.

Why buy one on Ebay when Arkham have it in stock?
Arkham's retail side is there to keep the club alive. One can't exist without the other...and you're a member, Gary, so you'd get the kit for £14.45 with your discount

Ah nice I wasn't sure if Phil could order them in I'll definitely be getting one then, total bargain for 275 cards!
Edit: I'm obviously blind didn't even see you guys had them in stock

Re: [MTG] April 'Friendly' Ladder
I have another game to report. I challenged Jamie this evening to a duel after he crushed me 3-0 in my first match. The first game went very much the same way as the previous three and Jamie quite comfortably destroyed my forces, though I did get the chance to mind control his key Indomitable archangel to no avail. The second game was controlled a little better by myself and I did get the chance to play Energy Flux which could have ruined Jamie's day with his artifact heavy deck he was able to shroud his artifacts with this archangel. Alas no mind control for me this round I was able to tap-tap away at his life total sufficiently to gain a victory though. This was a real relief and gave me some hope that I could actually win the match but Jamie brought me back to earth with a bang in the final game and crushed my glimmer of hope with a wave of combined arms Myr's with something like contempt. Well played Jamie.

Re: [MTG] April 'Friendly' Ladder
Had a few good games last night, not sure if they're all counting as ladder matches though!
First I played rick and won 3-0 but as it was his first game and his deck didn't have enough land it wouldn't be right to count that one.
Following this I played Gary and got hammered two nil (he sportingly gave me the last to make it 2-1 as he had to go role-play!). This was a ladder match.
Had Rick a rematch and won 2-1 (this was a ladder game)
Then I played Jamie and fluked a 2-1 win. We hadn't specified it as a ladder match though so I'm not sure if it's counting, maybe Jamie could clarify please. Wouldn't want to tarnish his reputation if it wasn't a deck he'd use for the ladder normally!
Anyway, all great games and in think most of us learned a little about our decks so thanks all!!

Re: [MTG] April 'Friendly' Ladder
Didn't manage any ladder matches last night but ended up winning 2 of 4 3 vs 3 matches, really enjoying getting back into MTG, I'll have to get some proper ladder matches in now my decks looking decent, Jamies brother kindly donated cards that helped my deck gel much better.
Anyone going to be up on Friday or Saturday who would fancy taking me on?
